Regular Season Rules

A) Game Clock: Clock will be running time - 20 Minute Halves. Clock stops last 1 minute of first half and last 2 minutes of second half.
Note: The only time clock situations change are if the game/s were delayed by teams coming late due to traffic or other concerns and both teams agreed to play an abreviated game. The clock will not stop during time outs unless play has been caught up to where it's supposed to be. (Site Director's Decision)
B) Fouls: Foul shots will be administered after the 10th team foul. All will be one and one. No two shot fouls except when fouled while shooting or technical fouls.
C) Overtime: First overtime will be 3 minutes with the clock stopping the last minute - Second overtime and any thereafter will be 1 minute with the clock stopping the last :10 seconds.
D) Time Outs: Each team will receive 4 (30) second time outs per game. If there is an overtime, an additional time out will be granted for each overtime.
E) Grace Period: Each team will have a 10 minute grace period and 5 minutes will be deducted from the game clock in each half to make up that time. If a team comes later than that and the opposing team still wishes to play instead of taking the forfeit, then the game will be started minus the late minutes.
F) No team may start the game with less than 5 players. No exceptions!
G) Uniforms: All players must wear their HAWKSBASKETBALL uniforms or their own matching uniforms or the offending team will be assessed a technical foul to start the game. (Playoffs Only)
H) Game Decisions: All game decisions by HAWKSBASKETBALL referees are final. Any concerns or comments should be directed to the Director by e-mail.
G) Forfeits: Any team that Forfeits two (2) games without contacting HAWKSBASKETBALL prior to the games will be dropped from the league. This is not negotiable! Any team that Forfeits two (2) games and appropriately contacts HAWKSBASKETBALL will be able to finish the regular season but will not be eligible for the Playoffs.

Playoffs

B) Fouls: Regulation High School rules will be followed.
C) Overtime: Same as above.
D) Time Outs: Each team will receive 5 (30) second time out per game. If there is an overtime, an additional time out will be granted for each overtime.

Regulation High School game rules will be followed.

Notice to all players and coaches!

Any player or coach ejected from a game for fighting or verbally abusing another player, scorekeeper/timekeeper, coach or official, will be suspended for (at least) one game. Length of suspension will be subject to the Directors discretion and the severity of the offense. Any second offense will be subject to league suspension for the rest of the season.

All suspensions will carry over to playoffs!

This rule is not negotiable!
