NJ Demons Are #1!

#3 Demons 62 - #1 All-Stars 51

Coming into the final game, the All-Stars were knocked off their 9 game winning streak by the team that beat them on opening night. The Demons' Scott Nelson (18pts/1stl) and Theo Ford (16pts/11rebs/3stls) were putting the game on ice early never letting the All-Stars get into any rhythm. The Demons also played suffocating defense. Misha Milijan also grabbed (11rebs) for the Demons. Barry Wilson had (9pts/12rebs) for the All-Stars in defeat.

#1 All-Stars Hold Court/Demons Knock Out Clifton!

#1 NJ All-Stars 62 - #5 Flemington 52

Well it's easy to see why the All-Stars were the #1 team in the regular season with their easy dismantling of the Force tonight. Barry Wilson (13pts/8rebounds/6blks) and Marcus Winfrey (8pts/8rebs/1blk/3stls/2assts) were huge in keeping the Force from coming in the paint and getting second chances. Robbie Silvis had (18pts) in the loss for Flemington.

#3 NJ Demons 37 - #2 Clifton 35

Scott Nelson (11pts) and Misha Martholer (9pts) led the way to this thrilling, down to the wire ending for the Demons. John Acosta (10pts/10rebs) was huge keeping Clifton in this one down to the wire.

Flemington 46 - Team Jordan 43

Robbie Silvis (16pts/7rebs/2stls) led the Force into the Quarterfinals with a solid effort. Wendy Josephs had (16pts) for Team Jordan.

Clifton 39 - Runnin' Rams 36

It took Travis Holm's (13pts/7rebs/1blk) and Justin Garcia's (10pts/3rebs/3stls) to help the Mustangs slip past the Rams. Kendall James had (15pts) for the Rams in their final game.

Demons 49 - Tornadoes 48

Ryan Lubreski's (21pts/4rebs) game was on tonight, leading the Demons past the Tornadoes 49-48 in an exciting game that went down to the wire. Levone Graham led the Tornadoes with (12pts).

NJ All-Stars 51 - Runnin' Rebels 40

Barry Wilson's (14pts/5rebs/5stls) all around effort was enough to stop the Rebels in their tracks. Adam Shepard had (13pts) for the Rebels in defeat.

NJ Demons 32 - Runnin' Rebels 24

Ryan Lubreski's (10pts/2rebs/1stl) was enough trouble for the Rebels to lead the Demons to the win. Tony Peters and Ryan Sullivan each had (8pts) for the Rebels.

Clifton 49 - CJ Warriors 30

Ali Alisaidi (12pts/4rebs/1stl/2assts) was the top dog for the Mustangs as they put away the Warriors 49-30. Mike Kardias had (12pts/5rebs/4stls) for the Warriors in defeat.

Flemington 52 - Runnin' Rams 43

In spite of the Rams' Cris Delerme's (16pts/20rebs/1blk) effort, Robert Kanaby's (19pts/5rebs/1blk/1stl/1asst) pushed the Force past the Rams 52-43. Two nice games from each young man but only one team could win. Great effort by both teams tonight.

NJ All-Stars 71 - NJ Tornadoes 36

Aditya Chaba (20pts/4rebs/1stl/5assts) and Barry Wilson (16pts/4rebs/4blks/1stl/1asst) took the wind out of the Tornadoes' sails as they easily defeated them 71-36. Nnamdi Vastola had (11pts/4rebs) for the Tornadoes.

Steve Rennard (17pts/1reb/1stl) drained 3 from downtown helping Team Jordan to cruise past the Rams. Kendal James had (10pts/5rebs) for the Rams in the defeat.

Clifton 37 - Runnin' Rebels 26

Lamar Rodriguez (10pts/3rebs/1blk/1stl/2assts) and Justin Garcia (8pts/2rebs/2stls/2assts) pushed the Mustangs to victory over the Rebels 37-26. Tony Peters had (9pts) for the Rebels.

NJ All-Stars 68 - Flemington 59

With Barry Wilson (18pts/7rebs/2blks/1asst) leading the way and John Mack (12pts/4assts) and Andre Bowi (11pts/5rebs) the All-Stars continue to hold the lead in the standings @ 6-1. Robert Kanaby had (13pts).

A monster effort from Theo Ford (15pts/12rebs/1blk) and Dwayne Gunthridge (10pts/4rebs/2stls/7assts) pushed the Demons past the Tornadoes 51-43. Lavone Graham and Erik Janz each had (13pts) for the Tornadoes in the loss.

Tornadoes Squeak By Rebels In OT!

Tornadoes 47 - Runnin' Rebels 46

It took an overtime period to do it but the Tornadoes slipped by the Runnin' Rebels by one! The Rebels' Ryan Sullivan (21pts/2rebs/2stls/1asst) and Tony Peters (9pts/6rebs/3blks/1asst) were keeping pace with Lavone Graham (14pts/1reb/2stls) and Nikka Vastola (10pts/5rebs/1stl/1asst) of the Tornadoes. Exciting action throughout.

Clifton 35 - Team Jordan 33

Clifton (5-1) had all it could handle with the young Team Jordan, just edging past 35-33. Roy Mabry (8pts/2rebs/1asst) led Team Jordan but it was John Acosta (11pts/7rebs/1stl/1asst) and Lamar Rodriguez (9pts/7rebs/4blks/1stl) who came up big for the Mustangs to help steal the win.

Flemington 48 - CJ Warriors 26

After a tight start, 12-11 after the 1st quarter, Flemington pulled away after going on a 24-3 run, to close out the first half at 35-15. Robbie Kanaby (8pts/3rebs/2stls/1asst), Alex Kenna (8pts/5rebs/2stls) and Mike Schwankert (8pts/1stl) helped pave the way for the win.

Roy Mabry (13pts/3rebs/4stls/2assts) and Steve Rennard (11pts/1reb/1blk/4stls/3assts) turned in nice games to help Team Jordan blast past the Tornadoes. Nnamdi Usawa had (9pts) for the Tornadoes.

Clifton 57 - Demons 44

Clifton got back to their winning ways led by Lamar Rodriguez (16pts/4rebs/2stls/2assts) and Travis Holm (14pts/3rebs/2blks/1asst). Ryan Lubreski (13pts/2rebs) led the Demons.

Jersey All-Stars 64 - CJ Warriors 27

Marcus Winfrey (12pts/10rebs/2blks/3stls) and Mike Cole (12pts/8rebs/5blks/3assts) played huge minutes to get the All-Stars their fifth straight win. Will Green had (8pts/7rebs) for the Warriors.

Runnin' Rams 58 - Runnin' Rebels 44

The Rams got their first victory with nice all around play from Sharief Early (14pts/2rebs/5stls/5assts), Chris Delerme (10pts/4rebs) and Kendall James (10pts/2rebs/2stls/1asst). Tony Peters had (19pts) for the Rebels.

Jersey All-Stars 44 - Clifton 35

Previously unbeaten Clifton got knocked off their first place throne by #2 Jersey All-Stars tonight. With a huge effort from Aditya Chabra (16pts/3rebs/2stls) the All-Stars took the lead early and never gave it up with their pressure defense. Justin Garcia had (8pts) in the loss.

Warriors Win At Wire!

Team Jordan 43 - Runnin' Rebels 40

Steve Rennard's (14pts) long range 3pter's were back breakers coming down the stretch as Team Jordan just pulled it out against the Rebels... Rennard hit 4 tre's from 30+ feet out! Tony Peters was a monster for the Rebels with (18pts/10rebs) in the loss.

Flemington Force 53 - NJ Tornadoes 44

Robert Kanaby (17pts/2rebs/1stl/1asst) and Robbie Silvis (13pts/1reb/2stls) were the dynamic duo for Flemington in the win over the Tornadoes. Lavone Graham had 8pts for the Tornadoes.

CJ Warriors 30 - Roselle Runnin' Rams 29

In easily the most exciting game of the night, the CJ Warriors, led by Will Green (13pts/6rebs/1stl) just got by the Rams with a last second shot by Green to win the game. The crowd was standing as it came down to the last few seconds and the gym was electrified by the exciting finish. It was the Warriors first win for the season in the Spring-SlamFest. Chris Determe had (10blocks) tonight for the Rams.

The Demons' Ryan Lubreski (18pts/2rebs/2assts) torched the Warriors tonight with a terrific game. Theo Ford (10pts/5rebs/2assts) and Scott Nelson (11pts/2rebs/2assts) also contributed in the win. Will Green had (7pts/3rebs) for the Warriors.

Team Jordan 52 - Flemington Force 48

Wendy Joseph (16pts/6rebs/2blks) was top dog for Team Jordan as the defeated a tough Flemington squad. Flemington was led by Robert Kanaby's (11pts/4rebs).

NJ Tornadoes 61 - Roselle Runnin' Rams 48

Nnandi Usawa's (12pts/15rebs/1asst) monster domination of the boards and Jordan Smith's (12pts/1reb/3assts) led the Tornadoes past the Runnin' Rams 61-48. Sharief Early (12pts/6rebs/3stls) led the Rams in defeat.

NJ All-Stars 58 - Runnin' Rebels 29

John Mack (17pts/2rebs/7stls/1asst) was a defensive pest against the Rebels tonight as he helped take his team past the Rebels 58-29. Marcus Winfrey also had (12pts/3rebs/1blk/3stls/1asst) in a good all around effort for the All-Stars. Tony Peters had (10pts) for the Rebels.

The Demons' Ryan Lubreski (19pts/1blk/1stl) stole the show as he topped all scorers tonight in the victory over Team Jordan. Scott Nelson also contributed (12pts/3rebs) also. Joe Marciano had (11pts) for Team Jordan.

NJ All-Stars 63 - Roselle Rams 34

Marcus Winfrey (16pts/11rebs/4blks/2stls) was a monster for the All-Stars as he dominated inside tonight. Winfrey had help too from John Mack(14pts) and Barry Wilson (12pts). Sharier Early had 13pts for Roselle.

Clifton Mustangs 52 - Flemington Force 43

The Mustangs handed the Force their first loss as they stormed past them 52-43. Lamar Rodriguez' (16pts/10rebs/3blks) was too much to handle for the Force. Mike Schwankert (15pts) led Flemington.

NJ Tornadoes 49 - CJ Warriors 40

James D'Amico (8pts) help whisk the Tornadoes by the Warriors 49-40. Ishmeal (10pts) and WIll Green (9pts) topped the Warriors in defeat.

Runnin' Rebels 52 - Central Jersey Warriors 36

A. Mathis (9pts) and J. Ashe (8pts) were leading scorers for the Rebels as the breezed past the Warriors 52-36. The Warriors were led by Sterling Gibbs (11pts) and Matt Skrelja (11pts).

Flemington Force 64 - NJ Demons 47

John Nash (16pts/16rebs) and Alex Kenna (15pts) helped the Force grab their first victory over the Demons. The Demons were led by Lubreski (9pts) and Guthridge (8pts)

Clifton Mustangs 48 - Tornadoes 30

Travis Holm (10pts) and Lamar Rodriguez (10pts) were top scorers as the rallied past the Tornadoes 48-30. Lavone Graham led the Tornadoes with (7pts).
